 The Saudi Industrial Development Fund Participation in the Arab-German Business Forum in Berlin

 

​​The Saudi Industrial Development Fund Participated in the eighteenth Arab-German Business Forum, which took place in Berlin the capital of Germany, a part of the Saudi delegation was chaired by H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah. The forum come as a result of cooperation with the secretariat general of the Arab League, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries and DIHK. The forum was attended by a number of businessmen and experts from the Arab world and Germany, in order to expand and develop the Arab-German economic relations.
 
Mr. Adel Abdulrahman Al-Suhaimi ( Assistant Director General/Projects) presented a paper titled (challenges and opportunities for investment) during the forum’s session dedicated to the support of industries. He highlighted the efforts made by the Fund and Kafalah Program in contribution to the development of the industrial  sector in the Kingdom, through encouragement initiatives to promote investment opportunity in small and medium-sized industrial projects, and provide a series of benefits and incentives to the different investors, Saudis and foreigners.
 
He also reviewed the Fund efforts in encouraging the joint venture industrial projects, especially with leading international companies, in order to attract and transfer the technology to the Kingdom, open the external market to the national products. He concluded by referring to the challenges facing industrial investment and highlighting  the most prominent opportunities featuring of the investment environment in the Kingdom.
