The Industrial Hackathon 2025 Boot Camp Begins Tomorrow in Preparation for Final Stage

The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) is gearing up to launch the Industrial Hackathon 2025 Boot Camp tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, 2025. The two-day camp aims to leverage the creativity of participants and empower them to develop their ideas into innovative industrial solutions that embody Saudi Arabia’s aspirations to enhance innovation and support the future of industry sector.
The boot camp will host a total of 229 participants representing 60 teams across four tracks: Design, Production, Sustainability, and Automation—a newly introduced track. This edition features a variety of interactive activities that combine theory and practice. Among the key activities are the “Fabrication Lab”, where participants can test and develop their ideas into prototypes, and the “Ideas Factory”, an interactive workspace for developing solutions and exchanging experiences – in addition to a series of workshops and enrichment sessions designed to foster creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
The boot camp for Industrial Hackathon 2025 represents a crucial and a decisive stage before reaching the final phase, which culminate in the closing ceremony and the announcement of the winners. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 25, alongside the Industrial Hackathon exhibition, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of SIDF’s Board of Directors, who will honor the winners and participants.
The total value of prizes in this year’s edition exceeds SAR 1,700,000. The 2025 edition is organized in partnership with Riyad Bank, Sahara International Petrochemical Company (SIPCHEM), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), with platinum sponsorship from Ma’aden.
