E-Participation
E-Participation
Participation through opinions and developmental proposals is a fundamental pillar in improving any work that requires interaction among stakeholders. Based on this concept, SIDF is keen to involve the public, including industrialists, investors, citizens, residents and visitors, in shaping the services and initiatives it offers.
SIDF enables everyone to submit their visions and constructive ideas, which are studied and transformed into initiatives and projects that contribute to supporting the economy and the national industry, bringing benefit to society as a whole.
This platform aims to enhance interaction and transparency by ensuring that suitable ideas are supported and carefully examined so they can be turned into executable initiatives. We welcome all contributions and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of information at all stages of participation.
Community Participation Policy
Electronic participation has gained significant importance in recent years because it allows citizens and beneficiaries to choose the appropriate communication method and ensures that their opinions and proposals reach all officials at SIDF, including senior management.
SIDF relies on various communication channels to convey the views of visitors from different categories, including citizens, government entities and the business sector, to the relevant departments electronically while fully adhering to the privacy and confidentiality of information.
SIDF believes in the importance of constructive criticism and dialogue and in making use of the expertise of specialists in industry, commerce and public service. It uses modern technology to provide opportunities for everyone to communicate and share their experiences, suggestions, solutions and issues through various electronic means.
SIDF provides multiple participation tools, such as comments, ratings, direct communication, blogs, polls, questionnaires, complaints and suggestions. All or some of these tools are used in the decision-making process depending on the subject matter, with clear identification of the methods available in each consultation.
SIDF reviews contributions periodically but reserves the right not to publish or to delete contributions that violate policies or regulations.
Consultations
SIDF is keen to enable individuals, the private sector and government entities to express views and opinions on draft systems and regulations before they are approved. This contributes to developing legislation in line with beneficiaries’ needs and aspirations.
The consultation platform allows everyone to participate and submit proposals through questionnaires and surveys published electronically so they can be reviewed and examined by specialists before a decision is made.
- Follow the consultation announcement on this page or through SIDF’s social media channels.
- Access the consultation link and read the details and requirements carefully.
- Fill out the participation form and state your opinion or proposal clearly and specifically.
- Follow up on the consultation results through reports published after the evaluation stage.
Joint Development and Creativity
SIDF invites all interested parties to share their creative ideas that would develop current services and launch new initiatives. Every idea received is assessed carefully.
The joint development program aims to involve individuals and entities as partners in the development process so that the ideas and proposals submitted become part of future projects. SIDF encourages participation through electronic platforms to ensure transparency and continuous interaction.
Potential proposals include improving funding services, developing innovative solutions to support industrial entrepreneurs, enhancing the efficiency of internal processes, and designing sustainable initiatives that contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030. Proposals can be submitted for all sectors supported by SIDF.
- Identify the idea or problem you wish to address.
- Prepare a clear and concise description explaining the expected benefit and how it can be implemented.
- Submit the idea via a dedicated form on the website.
- Follow up on the idea’s status and receive feedback from SIDF’s teams.
Open Data
Believing in the principle of transparency and in promoting electronic participation, SIDF provides open data and statistics to all visitors and beneficiaries. This service aims to enable users to benefit from available information and to use it in scientific research, in supporting businesses and new projects, and in aiding decision-making.
Open data encourages innovation through the development of composite applications that integrate information from different sources. The data portal also provides reports and statistics that can be classified, filtered and processed in suitable formats such as XLS.
